CETCA, your Telecommunications Partner.
Laboratory with over 8 years of specialized experience in the development, implementation and support for performance testing and quality assurance for all industries driven by voice and data in Central America and the Caribbean..
In Costa Rica, our company is proudly a Laboratory accredited by the Superintendency of Telecommunications (SUTEL), so we are authorized to perform the laboratory tests (usability, radio frequency and consumption tests) required to obtain the certification before the Local Regulator.
It should be added that the services that CETCA offers go beyond a pure and simple Type Approval; We are Telecommunications Consultants and as such we take our clients by the hand from the beginning in which they intend to request an homologation before SUTEL (accompaniment in the process of credentials and admissibility requests), obtaining the Type Approval Certificate, and the guidance in the IMEI´s publication procedure on the respective platform (SUTEL requirement for the terminals that will be marketed in Costa Rica).
Regarding the costs involved in our homologation services, the price varies according to the capabilities of the device, among them can be mentioned the supported technologies, operating
bands, quantity and type of SIM card and even a drive test (due to device size). In order to provide a cost that meets the conditions of your project, we invite you to contact us at email@example.com, sending the
corresponding technical sheets and we will gladly share the respective quote.

Cash in ATMs has become an objective for crime around the world. Increase the level of security has become vital too. With this in mind technology has developed a variety of electronic mobile devices which integrates geo positioning and data transmission through a secured server in order to track ATMs money in real time in case of theft.
Part of our portafolio is a wide variety of wireless dataphones available for the finance industry. These are devices used to execute secure Bank transactions sending data through a mobile network which enables the user to move freely.
We homologate high-precision topography which triangles positions via GPS and AGPS –GNSS.Within this technology some of the devices we have processed include GPS' for the automobile and agricultural industries used to control and monitor fleet sending data to a control center such as: speed, location, oil pressure, gas level, engine status and delimitation of areas of operation among others. We also have homologated water flow meters which controls the water consumption in a specific area. All the devices mentioned send periodic and programmed reports via mobile networks to secure servers, conventional email servers or SMS.
In this filed we homologates humidifiers that help to improve respiratory disorders during sleeping, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease among other respiratory diseases. We have also undergone the procedure of testing to devices that are responsible for injecting growth hormones to children and adults in order to reactivate their body growth and/or control the pituitary gland. These terminals periodically send a report to a server via Internet or email using data on mobile networks. Thus the doctor in charge has easy access to the report of the dosage delivered and thereby achieve better control, avoid excessive dosages and the constant patient's visit.
